Founded in 1966 by a group of visionary Ponca City artists, the Ponca City Art Association (now known as City Arts) has grown into a thriving hub for creativity, learning, and community connection.

Kestrel TinklenbergCity Arts Assistant Executive Director
The City Arts Assistant Executive Director is Kestrel Tinklenberg. Kestrel grew up in a small town in Southwest Minnesota, where she spent her youth reveling in the arts. She took art classes every year and participated in many state and national art competitions as a child. Kestrel had planned on attending art school upon graduation but decided to follow in her parent’s footsteps by joining the US Marines at 18 years old. Kestrel spent 10 years in the Marines, before leaving the service in 2022 and moving to Ponca City. She is currently attending Arizona State University where she is pursuing her BA in Psychology and enjoying her new hometown with her cat and two dogs.
