Prepare for liftoff, Ponca City! The much anticipated traveling immersive art installation, The Cicada, has landed! Presented by Enid based artist collective Itinerant Immersive, The Cicada will be open at Central Fare, 210 S. 4th St. on February 20, 2025 through March 30, 2025. Step aboard this abandoned spaceship-turned-art installation and explore a world that is truly out of this world! The Cicada invites intrepid explorers of all ages to uncover the mysteries of its hauntingly beautiful interstellar design, crafted to ignite the imagination and transport you to galaxies far, far away. Ben Ezzell, founder of Itinerant Immersive, shares, "We believe that transformative art experiences should be accessible to everyone. Immersive art has the power to connect people, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories, and we're committed to bringing that magic to communities of all shapes and sizes."
